Job Description / Work Description:

The scope of work is to add necessary hardware to an in service 9500 MPR to support Ethernet SAID integration. Also there may be steps to perform a software upgrade from R02.02.00Q to R02.02.00R on the 9500 MPR radio in support of Ethernet and TDM traffic simultaneously. There will be additional steps to include changing IP addresses of the existing 9500MPR to new addressing scheme. The IP address updates may include NE local address, TMN address and OSPF area. Also included in this scope is the loading of an ACAT file into the local Target SIAD and performing necessary ping and software tests.

THIS TASK IS FOR APPROXIMATELY FOR 50 SITES WHERE EACH SITE TAKES ABOUT 3 DAYS. WE WANT TO HIRE CANDIDATE FOR EACH SITE AND PAY FOR THE NUMBER OF SITES WORKED.

Required Skills/Experience:

- Executing individual must have familiarity with working on live 9500 MPR equipment.
- Must have ATT Ask Yourself Training certificate.
- Must have appropriate test equipment to complete Ethernet Steps.
- Must have ACAT software and ability to load ACAT file into local SIAD. (ALU will provide software and Script file).
- Individual must have working knowledge of the following documents listed below.
- 3EM23954AD Operations and Administration Manual 9500 MPR R02.02
- 3EMRJZZA Installation Guide for R02.02R
- Individual must have software versions R02.02.00R and R02.02.00Q
- Pick up Optical splitters from customers local warehouse and deliver to sites.
- Install splitter/fiber (supplied) to MSS per MOP
- Have 2 extra SFPs both LC and SC (single Mode)
- Perform Ethernet through put.
- Perform necessary Ethernet radio upgrades per operations manual, installation guide and MOP
- Perform NTE hot cut per MOP
- All work to be performed in two maintenance windows per hop.
- The work may all be done at one time or be broken up into various weeks depending on customers Schedule.
